My husband, two friends and I came to lunch at Longfellows on Friday 16th December. What a find! Cosy and friendly, good atmosphere and super food (especially the spiced fruit crumble) which has gone to the top of my list for restaurant crumbles!! We will definately be returning- thank you to all the staff. Hope we wernt too noisy-blame the sqeaky balloons!!

Extremely high standard of cuisine, coupled with great restaurant atmosphere. Very courteous/happy staff. A real pleasure. All friends very impressed. I will return!!!

Just a quick note to pass on our sincere thanks for yesterday, from the moment we arrived both your self and the Longfellows team were great, the welcome for our party and the oppurtunity to have pre dinner drinks outside was excellent, we have nothing but compliments with regards to the meal and service, the food was excellent, our thanks to the chef, again even better we were able to go back out to the garden for coffee and more drinks.
Overall both Cath and I would like to pass on our sincere thanks for an excellent day.

Party of 10 of us ate at Longfellows on 2nd August- a birthday celebration.  The food and service were excellent. A varied and delicious menu, all beautifully presented in a very pleasant dining room. Really pretty and relaxing gardens to the rear, to enjoy a drink, or dine al fresco.  All 10 of us were very impressed and all said we will definately be making a return visit.  Thank you to the chef and staff for a most enjoyable evening and especially for the ad hoc "babysitting" whilst we all enjoyed our meal.  That was way beyond the call of duty and excellent customer service.

After having issues at our hotel we found this restaurant using yeii.com so we had no idea what to expect, it was absolutely lovely. Friendly, efficient staff and the best food I,ve had in a very long time, cannot recommend this restaurant enough

A BIG THANK YOU to Chris and Doug for letting us host our Quiz Night at Longfellows last night to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer support. Together we raised £390. Thank you to everyone who supported us. What a fun night!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping my 50th birthday to be so enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, all the staff friendly and the ambience was perfect for such an occasion. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. You all worked so hard to make it all happen so smoothly and I really appeciate all your hard work. It is a day I will remember for a long time.

I would just like to thank you for the fantastic evening we spent with you on Saturday 19th December 2009.
You managed to fit us in at a late stage by placing our party of 8 in the bar area for the evening.  It was so lovely to have the room to ourselves and during the evening it snowed, which was so magical.  The food was excellent and you made us feel very welcome. Everybody commented over the following days what a fantastic night it was, for the venue, atmosphere and food. We were all so impressed with the cost.

When we exited the taxi we saw your restaurant and decided that this is where we wanted to eat. "My Husband and I organized a surprise 75th party for my mother-in-law at your restaurant on 9th Dec 2005. The food, the service and the atmosphere were excellent. My mother-in-law had an evening to remember and it sticks out in her mind that the door was opened for her on arrival and she was personally welcomed. Everyone in the party had a wonderful night. A few people in the group had never been to your restaurant but they said they will definitely be going back. I agree with a previous comment that the standard of food and service is exceptional."
